What you're buying, what we're promising, and what happens if either of us walks away.

These terms govern any purchase of the Essential Kit, Signature Kit, revisions, a standalone discovery call, or digital downloads from Barkhouse Creative Co. ("we," "us," "our"). By checking out, you agree to these terms.
A live media kit on a custom domain, designed and built by Becca from your structured intake. Includes always-current insights, hosting, your custom domain, and the daily data refresh. Does not include a discovery call, ongoing strategic input from Becca, or revision rounds — each of which can be purchased separately at any time.
Everything in Essential, plus a 50-minute discovery and strategy call with Becca, her personal input on insight selection and framing, the full digital template bundle (included at $45), one round of revisions before launch, and a quarterly strategic check-in.
Minor revisions ($150) and major revisions ($300) are available to any client at any time, with scope confirmed before work begins. A standalone 30-minute discovery call with Becca ($145) is available to anyone, whether or not you have a Barkhouse Creative Co. media kit.
For both packages, we purchase and manage your custom domain on your behalf as part of the build. Renewal is covered by your monthly subscription while it's active.
If your subscription lapses or is cancelled, your media kit continues running as a static site — frozen at your last successful data pull — on its custom domain for 30 days. See What happens if you pause or cancel below for what happens after that window.
If your subscription lapses or is cancelled, your media kit switches to a static version — frozen at your last successful data pull — and stays live on your domain for 30 days. If payment isn't received within that window, the site comes down. You can reinstate your media kit at any time by resuming payment; it picks back up where it left off, with no need to rebuild from scratch.
Build fees and the first month's subscription are charged together at checkout via Stripe. Subscriptions renew monthly and continue until cancelled. Cancelling stops the next billing cycle; it does not refund the current period.
All digital downloads — the Rate Card Calculator, the Pitch & Follow-Up Email Pack, the Content Creator Agreement & Business Library, and the bundled set — are delivered instantly and are final sale. No refunds once delivered, except where the file itself is defective or you were charged in error.
Because each build involves real work starting almost immediately — domain purchase, intake review, design time — refunds on the build fee are handled case by case, based on how far the work had progressed when you asked. Whether your domain has been registered, whether intake or your discovery call has happened, and how much design work is complete all factor into what's fair to refund. Reach out and we'll assess it honestly.
You can cancel at any time. Cancelling stops future billing; we do not prorate or refund the current billing period.
A media kit is a presentation tool, not a guarantee of brand deals or income. Not landing partnerships after your media kit goes live is not, on its own, grounds for a refund.
Email scott@barkhousecreativeco.com with your order details. We'll confirm what applies and process eligible refunds to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.
Your content — bios, photos, brand voice, the specific numbers and story featured — is yours. The design system, code, automation platform, and templates we use to build and run media kits remain the property of Barkhouse Creative Co. Purchasing a media kit gives you a license to use your finished media kit; it does not transfer ownership of the underlying platform or design system.
Digital downloads are licensed to you for your own personal or business use. You may not resell, redistribute, or repackage them.
A media kit is a presentation tool. We do not guarantee brand partnerships, deal volume, or income as a result of purchasing a Barkhouse Creative Co. media kit or template.
Our total liability for any claim relating to our services is limited to the fees you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.
We may update these terms as the business evolves. Continued use of your media kit or subscription after an update means you accept the revised terms.
