A brand slides into your DMs. Real engagement, content you're proud of — and no idea what to send back or what to charge.
She built her own media kit. Taught herself the CPM math brands actually use to value content. Pitched tourism boards and boutique stays like she belonged in their inbox — because she did.
It worked. Paid partnerships. Ambassador roles with Destination Cape Breton. Collaborations with Parks Canada. The media kit did the convincing before she ever got on a call.
Barkhouse Creative Co. exists because every creator deserves that same advantage — without having to learn design, code, or spreadsheet math to get it.
Most creators are one professional media kit away from being taken seriously, and nobody is building that for them properly. Templates are generic. Platforms are automated but soulless. Agencies won't return their emails.
Barkhouse Creative Co. will. That's the business.
Founder and CEO. Becca sets the strategic direction and creative standard for Barkhouse Creative Co., leading client acquisition and social strategy. She serves as creative director on every Signature Kit — overseeing each build from concept through delivery and personally leading the 50-minute discovery and strategy call.
Scott oversees the operational, financial, and legal foundation of the business — administration, invoicing and payment processing, budgeting, contracts, and compliance. He leads negotiations and closes every agency-level deal.
Naomi owns the technical infrastructure end to end, and leads development of the live-stats automation that keeps every media kit current. She manages ongoing platform and API maintenance across client kits, so the numbers keep arriving without anyone lifting a finger.
From the nano creator landing her first gifted collab to the established account renegotiating an ambassador deal. The offer scales with the client: smaller creators need their first professional presence, bigger creators need sharper strategy and elevated design — and both are underserved by what's out there.
The first wave is predictable, though. Nano and micro creators are the most underserved people in this market. Agencies won't take them. Templates fail them. They're exactly who Becca was.
Barkhouse Creative Co. starts where Becca has roots — Nova Scotia and Cape Breton especially, in the lifestyle, outdoor, travel, and hospitality niches where her network and credibility already live.
A live media kit doesn't care where you live. It loads the same wherever a brand opens their inbox.
